Reconciliation guides
One guide per template: the two exports you need, how their rows are matched, sample files, and the steps to rerun it next month.
Every guide comes with
Two sample files you can download, the template that opens in the app with one click, and the result the recipe gives on those samples, so you know what a correct run looks like before you try your own files.

Rules you no longer keep in your head
For centuries a bookkeeper ticked each line of one book against another and carried what did not agree to the next page. The rules lived in their head.
A guide writes those rules down once, as a recipe, so the same check runs the same way every month, whoever runs it.

Run the same template on the next exports and last month’s open rows come back with their age. The ones whose partner turned up close, with the date.
